Peer Review
Standards
AMP journals ensure that all submitted research articles meet the highest standards of international peer review:

A. Each research article is reviewed by at least two qualified experts.

B. The Co-Editors-in-Chief makes all publication decisions based on the reviews provided.

C. Editorial Board Members assist the Co-Editors-in-Chief in making decisions regarding specific articles.

D. Editorial Board Members provide insights, advice, and guidance to the Co-Editors-in-Chief.

E. Academic Editors and the Executive Editor support the peer-review process, ensuring its integrity while maintaining a fast turnaround and maximum efficiency for all stakeholders, including authors, reviewers and editors.

F. The journal employs a single-blind peer review process. The identities of reviewers remain confidential unless reviewers choose to sign their reviews. Reviewers are expected to remain anonymous throughout the process and thereafter.

G. AMP journals fully comply with the COPE Journal Editorial Code of Conduct and best practices, ensuring editorial accountability. Our readers are always informed about research funding, and the relationships between authors, reviewers and editorial board members are maintained in line with COPE recommendations.

Instructions
Reviewers are expected to assess the originality, validity, and significance of manuscripts, providing detailed, evidence-based (with references) feedback to guide editorial decisions (accept, revise, or reject) and to help authors improve their work. In particular, reviewers should consider:

1. Suitability and Originality

Is the manuscript appropriate for AMP journals?

Does it present original and important research?

Is the topic within the scope of the journal and of interest to its readership?

2. Data and Conclusions

Are the results and conclusions fully supported by the data?

Do any data gaps, inadequacies, or errors undermine the conclusions?

3. Statistical Rigor

Are the statistical methods and analyses appropriate and free of deficiencies or errors?

4. Confidentiality

Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality regarding the manuscript content.

5. Special Issues

Special Issues are collections of papers on topics of particular interest, organized and led by Guest Editors who are experts in the field. All submissions for Special Issues follow the same peer review process as regular articles. All manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's online submission system, and Guest Editors and invited authors must adhere strictly to the Journal’s Editorial Policies.

By following these guidelines, reviewers contribute to maintaining the quality, integrity, and efficiency of the peer review process at AMP journals.
